Grantmaking Priorities

The grantmaking priorities of The Grundy Foundation are:

• Capital Projects (“brick and mortar”)
  • 501 (c) (3) Organizations throughout Bucks County may apply.  
• Operating/Programmatic Support
  • Eligibility is limited to pre-selected organizations in Lower Bucks County or Trustee-recommended projects focused on arts and culture, education, and emergency needs.

In 2023, impact grants of $90,000 were awarded to Bristol Riverside Theatre and $26,000 to local Bristol Borough organizations. The average award for all other operating/programmatic grants was $2,600.

Due to extensive Foundation capital projects, no new grant applications will be considered January—December 2024.

The Trustees of The Grundy Foundation review these Priorities annually.
