Photography and Recordings

The Grundy Museum and Library grounds offer breathtaking views of the scenic Delaware River and Burlington Island and serve as an ideal backdrop for wedding, engagement, prom, family, and nature photographs.

All visitors must comply with the Grundy Foundation’s policies including the Photography and Recordings Policy and the Behavior Policy.

Casual Photography

Casual visitors do not require permission to capture photography and/or recordings in the exterior public spaces of the Grundy Foundation provided they are strictly for personal, noncommercial use. 

• Advance approval is not required and photography must take place during regular park hours. However, these spaces may, at any time, be closed without advanced notice.
• Single hand-held cameras only; no ancillary equipment, such as a tripod or external lights. 
• Grundy Foundation security personnel and/or other staff have the discretion to enforce limits on photographic or artistic activity as needed. 
• Adherence to Foundation policies is required at all times while on the premises.

Weddings, Proms, and other Formal Public Photography

Individuals may wish to use the Foundation grounds as a location for personal photos, such as engagement or wedding photos, prom photos, family photos, or similar special occasions.

• Advance approval is required for all formal public photography including wedding and prom. To request advance approval, review and complete the Use of Grounds Application. 
• All groups using the grounds must abide by the Grundy Foundation’s Regulations for Use of Grounds. 
• All visitors must comply with requests and directions from Grundy Foundation security personnel and/or other staff.
• Adherence to Foundation policies is required at all times while on the premises.

We regret that the Museum, Library, and Foundation grounds are not available for wedding ceremonies or receptions. For an outdoor ceremony in historic Bristol Borough, contact the Borough of Bristol.
