The Grundy Museum and Library grounds are privately owned by The Grundy Foundation and made available to accommodate use by individuals and small groups.
You are welcome to enjoy the riverfront park and rooftop terraces for passive recreational activities during open hours and asked to respect these premises by observing posted signage and cooperating with staff. All commercial use of the grounds is prohibited. The Foundation reserves the right to close the premises without notice. Our buildings and grounds are tobacco-free and we thank you in advance for not smoking and/or using tobacco products while on the property. The park and patio are open during the following hours:
3rd Sunday in October to Friday before Memorial Day
Monday-Wednesday, 8am to dusk
Thursday-Saturday, 8am to 4pm
Sunday – closed
Memorial Day Weekend to Historic Bristol Day (3rd Saturday in October)
Monday-Wednesday, 8am to 8pm
Thursday-Friday, 8am to 4pm
Saturday, 8am to 8pm
Sunday and holidays, 12pm to 8pm
Passive recreational activities include, but are not limited to:

- Observing Nature
- Reading
- Walking
- Photography
- Plein Air Painting
- Fishing (only at posted designated fishing area)
